News Paper Battle Article

Thursday March 15,1781. Another battle has taken place but this time at the Guliford Courthouse, North Carolina. Major General Greene and Lord Charles were at it. So many were either killed or wounded on both sides, so how many were killed or wounded on Major General Greene’s side 79 were killed and 185 were wounded while on Lord Charles’s side 93 were killed and 413 were wounded. Britain showed indications of ripping off stars and stripes, but Greene raised a new force comprising 1,700 continentals and about 2,700 militia. The battle began at noon and progressed unevenly. The tables turned for Americans in the fall of 1780, when in october a patriot defeated a loyalist. Additionally in late 1780 General George Washington appointed Major General Nathenale                                        Greene to head to the continental army in the south. The new commander decided to divide his troops in the Carolinas’ in order to force the larger British Contingent under Lieutenant General Charles CornWallis to fight them. It was a trechorous battle but sadly, the British won.             where i got this image      www.britishbattles.com

2017

2017 is here, and i’m so happy! In August i’ll be turning 12 a year closer to being a teen. For my party i’m going to have what’s called a “guys night” where I have a whole bunch of my friends spend the night with me. w’ell eat pizza, play video games, jump on my trampoline, and much more. My parents said I might be getting a phone for my birthday ( I hope it’s the iphone 6 or seven plus). For the cake I really want a cookie cake from the Butcher Shop, their cookie cakes are so good. Then usually in the morning i’m usually the first one up as the people say “the early bird catches the worm”, but anyway w’ell usually get donuts in the morning. It’s going to be so awesome ( that is if my sister doesn’t ruin it).

Rememberance Day

Today is the aniversery of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The attack on Pearl Harbor is a day that is ” A day that will live in infamy”. This attack lasted for two hours Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan. A total of 3,600 people died in that attack, so this led the U.S.A. into to world 2. My reaction was I was totally shocked and sad for the people who died. My class got to listen to the brodcast that accured in 1941. I was just so shocked on why Japan did this. I don’t understand on why they would do this. anyway that was my reaction.

The Kid Who Ran For President

For the past week me and my classmates have been reading a book call The Kid Who Ran For President. It’s about a kid named Judson Moon who decides to run for president. He decides to run as a third party candidate in the election because he thinks kids should have the right to vote and run for office. I really liked it because it taught us how the election works what the president needs where the president lives and it really brought out the funny. I’d give this book five stars.
